Courtney relocated to Costa Rica more than fifteen years ago from North Carolina, and has served for several terms as the President of Guanacaste Real Estate board. She also belongs to CRGAR, and is a multiple RE/MAX award winner. Courtney speaks English and Spanish.

Hacienda Pinilla has been the perfect location for my family in Costa Rica. The beautiful development is located in the Northern Pacific zone of Costa Rica. The 4,500 acre property features beautiful nature and fantastic facilities and services for families, professionals and retirees.
Many owners enjoy the 3 km pristine beaches in the area. You can find a variety of different types of beaches in Hacienda Pinilla. There are great areas for kids to play in tide pools, long sand beaches for walking, and beaches with world class surfing. The beach club is located directly on the sand in Playa Avellanas and includes: fantastic pool area, tiki bar, restaurant, spa, meeting room, and gym. The Langosta beach area of the development has a tiki huts, restrooms, beach chairs for owners to enjoy.
You can find amazing nature throughout the development. You can often see many species of birds, racoons, monkeys, and iguanas when walking and riding in the development. Rarely, you might see a coyote or crocodile, and if you are very lucky even a wild cat. You can enjoy the amazing nature on the miles of nature trails for walking and biking in the area.
What do I like the most in Hacienda Pinilla?
My family is very active and we enjoy the tennis court and 18-hole Mike Young designed golf course. The equestrian tours are also fantastic with experienced guides. My children love to ride the horses through the estuary and down the beach. The experienced rider will enjoy galloping through the fields.
The facilities and services are wonderful. Within the community, the roads are paved with sidewalks great for running or family walks. There are fruit trees lining the streets, and the development has preserved the local Guanacaste feel with typical architecture. We feel secure with 24-hour security services and professional guards. There is even a medical clinic onsite with a doctor on call to help if there is an emergency.
