Our beach communities are surrounded by a variety of charming inland communities, each offering its own unique character and lifestyle while remaining just a short drive from the coast. On the map below, they are identified with a turquoise pin.
South of Tamarindo, you’ll find well-known communities such as Refundores, Linderos, Villa Real, Hernández, Pinilla, San Francisco, 27 de Abril, Río Seco, La Florida.
North of Tamarindo, the region includes Santa Rosa, El Llano, El Llanito, La Garita/La Josefina, Huacas, Portegolpe, Matapalo, and Cartagena.
These inland communities often offer larger properties, greater privacy, a more authentic Costa Rican atmosphere, and excellent value, all within easy reach of the beaches, restaurants, shopping, and services.
