Pirates Bay (also called Playa Piratas) is located just south of the popular Playa Conchal beach. The name came from the legend that pirates had visited the beach and small islands off the coastline.
The protected bay is often calm and perfect for swimming and spear fishing. There are just a few homes and a couple small hotels that are located in this area, but it is an area that is expected to continue to grow in popularity.
